I have an option of a very affordable condo off the park property. What recommendations will make this visit most convenient? Can we ride the mono rail without staying at a disney resort? Can we eat at the resort residents if we are not staying?

Hi Tina! As a guest to DIsney theme parks, you can absolutely use Disney transportation. Hop on the monorail, boats or buses - the transportation is easy and readily available, and a great way to maximize your park time. In order to get the most of your park time, I recommend getting to the park as early as possible, about 30 minutes before opening time. This will enable you to get your car parked and be in the park for opening. The crowds are much thinner early in the day, and you'll be able to  do so much more in the first few hours.

We love visiting the different resorts. You can certainly enjoy the restaurants in the resorts even though you are not staying there. If you are visiting the Magic Kingdom, I recommend visiting a monorail resort, either the Contemporary, Polynesian or Grand Floridian. Click here to see the resort dining options. From Epcot or the Studios, I would hop on a boat or walk to the beautiful Beach and Yacht Club Resorts and the Boardwalk Resort. From the Animal Kingdom, take a bus to the Animal Kingdom Lodge. It's a beautiful resort with many yummy dining choices.

    Hope this helps Tina!
