We opted for a dining plan and are worried that we will be relegated to counter service for the trip because we didn't know to make reservations 6 months ago. Can we still eat at sit-down restaurants even though no reservations are available?

    Hi Jennifer!

Most of Disney World's Table Service restaurants require an Advanced Dining Reservation (ADR), however it may not be too late.

You can call 407-WDW-DINE to see if there are any available timeslots still available. You may want to try some of the off-the-beaten path restaurants for more luck in scoring a reservation.

    I recommend:

    Boma at Animal Kingdom
    Kona Cafe at Polynesian
    Citricos at Grand Floridian
Trails End at Fort Wilderness Cabins
Restaurant Marrakesh in Morocco Pavilion in Epcot

You may be able to try to get a seat at one of these restaurants the day of without an ADR, but it's highly unlikely. During our last vacation I saw many guests visiting the podium at various restaurants throughout all of the parks and I didn't see one personally successfully get a table without an ADR. But, people cancel reservations up until the day prior to their vacation, so you should be able to still get ADRs prior to your trip.

    Magically,
    Stacy
