We have opted for the dining plan. When we select a park for the day, how do you find out how long it will take to get to the restaurant you select for the evenig meal if the reservation is a specific time?

    Hi William,

I'm assuming you mean how long will it take you to get from a particular park to a restaurant outside of that park. I use a fantastic tool on a website called www.ourlaughingplace.com Scroll to the bottom of the home page and click on Transport Wizard. This allows you to choose any Walt Disney World park or hotel as your starting point and then you choose your destination and it tells you the easiest route to take and an approximate journey time.

If you were wondering about journey times (walking) in a particular theme park I suggest you buy a book called Passporter, it has fantastic maps of all the parks and approximate times to walk from point to point. Alternatively before your reservation just make a note of where the restaurant you're dining at is and how long it takes you to get to certain points.

I'm one of those people who always likes to be places early so I always allow extra time to get to my destination. If you're early it's great to look around the resort or area, shop or grab a drink and relax. Remember even if you're early go and check in as you may be seated earlier too!
