how does the opt out mousekeeper work at pop Century

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Mark! Your trip to the Walt Disney World Resort is just around the corner! Have you packed your Mickey ears and sunblock yet?

Right now, the Service Your Way program should be in full swing at Disney’s Pop Century Resort. Keep your eyes peeled when checking-in to your resort because if it is available, you will see a sign at the front desk.

Mark, here’s how it works, when a guest lets a Front Desk Cast Member know they want to opt out of housekeeping services, which include vacuuming your room and having your beds made each day for the length of their stay, they will receive a $10 per night credit in the form of a Disney Gift Card. Guests can expect to receive the credit for every night of their stay, except the last.

Declining housekeeping services doesn’t mean that you will be without all the necessities. For fresh towels and toiletry items, just press the housekeeping button on your Disney Resort hotel Guest room telephone and you can request what you need.

Disney’s Pop Century Resort just got a bit of a refreshing with some great new refurbishments. Guests can now enjoy the comfort of queen sized beds in their rooms, along with a new big screen television, shelving for storage, a Cuisinart pod style coffee maker and a mini-refrigerator.

It’s all the modern style and comfort you need, at a Disney Value resort price!

Mark, I hope you enjoy your Incredible Summer visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. Feel free to drop by to see us again soon!
