In your opinion, would it be worth it to purchase Memory Maker for a 1 day trip to Magic Kingdom? We are going to the Boutique and eating at Cinderella's castle along with rides/character visits. Thank you!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Mom Panel, Jennifer! Thank you for bringing us your question.

Finding the 'worth' of Walt Disney World's new Memory Maker photo package comes down to two things for me: convenience and the numbers (and anyone who knows me knows I LOVE numbers). In my experience Memory Maker gets a big thumbs up on both.

First, there is the convenience of Memory Maker. With a simply tap of your MagicBand or PhotoPass card, your pictures are automatically linked to your account. You will then be able to view, customize and download all of the pictures collected by your entire traveling party as long as everyone is linked using the Friends & Family feature in your My Disney Experience account.

The second factor when considering the 'worth' of Memory Maker is the numbers. If you think your traveling party will collect ten pictures or more than Memory Maker will actually save you money. This assumes you purchase Memory Maker more than three days in advance of your trip and receive the $50 pre-purchase discount. Between the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, Cinderella's Royal Table, character photos and photos taken at the PhotoPass locations around the park I would think you would easily get ten pictures.

I hope this helps with your decision to purchase Memory Maker. If you have more questions about Memory Maker or any other aspect of your Walt Disney World vacation please come back and see me.

    Have a pixie-dusted day!
