What is your opinion on the Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween Party? Would you recommend it? From what I understand you have to purchase a separate ticket. Is it worthwhile? Thanks

Thanks for the question Kelli! My daughter and I attended Mickey's Not So Scary Hallowe'en Party at the Magic Kingdom this past September and absolutely loved it. I highly recommend it and would absolutely go again. As a matter of fact, I will be going again in September! You are correct, you do need to purchase a separate ticket for this event.

Both guests and the characters dress up in costume, and you'll be given a bag to fill with candy from the many trick or treating spots. The party starts at 7pm, but you can enter the park at 4 pm. There are two awesome Hallowe'en-themed parades, and an incredible fireworks display. There are character photo op locations throughout the park, with many special characters we don't normally get to see.  There are also dance parties throughout the night, lead by characters like Stitch and Goofy.

As they sell a limited number of tickets, the park is often less crowded. The night we were there wasn't too crowded at all and we walked on every ride, even doing Splash Mountain three times in a row.

Wiching you a magical vacation and a spooktacular Halloween!
