    In your opinion what is the best Disney Moderate resort? Is it worth the extra money to go to Mickey's Halloween party.

    I think that Port Orleans Riverside is the best overall Moderate resort. This is based on it having excellent theming, more in-resort activities, equal or better dining and nightlife options, and the boat access to the Downtown Disney area. 

    Now with very specific traveling parties I have been known to recommend other resorts (like Port Orleans French Quarter for adult-only groups looking for a quieter setting), but on average I think that Riverside is the best.

    As for the Halloween Party, it is fun, and worth the money if your party will be able to take advantage of all the extra in-park hours it provides, and if you are into the Halloween spirit. If either don't apply, I think that it can be a lot of money that might have been spent better elsewhere.
