Will the opening ceremony at MK be changing in February once Mickey's Toon Town is shut down? I only ask because my girls love the opening ceremony and hope to be involved in it some day (assuming it still exists). Thanks for any information you have!

    Hi Charles,

With all the changes coming to the Magic Kingdom over the next few years, it will be very exciting to see all the new attractions and special events Disney will be creating for future guests including your princesses!

While I have not heard anything about the opening ceremony changing, your best bet is to ask at your resort upon check in what the status is of this ceremony or any of the refurbishment happenings. Cast members at the desk usually have more up to date information because timelines are always changing.

I know I miss my princesses not experiencing 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea attraction but I am so glad they get to experience Buzz Lightyear which was not around when I first toured the parks. It is a way to make new memories with you and your princesses.

    Have a magical vacation!
