What's open on the Boardwalk right now during the day and at night? Is it worth a visit?

Hi there, Apryl! Welcome back to planDisney.

Apryl, Disney's BoardWalk is one of my absolutely favorite areas to visit on a day when we need a little break from the go-go-go pace that our family maintains when we are in a theme park. Strolling along the BoardWalk, visiting the resorts, and dining at some fabulous locations is a great way to spend a free afternoon.

Apryl, several restaurants are currently open in the BoardWalk area, including:

    Ale & Compass Restaurant
    Beaches & Cream Soda Shop
    BoardWalk Bakery
    Trattoria al Forno

Apryl, please know that reservations for any table-service restaurant are highly recommended, and reservations will be required to park at one of the hotels in the BoardWalk area.

Currently, the nightly entertainment at the BoardWalk, including Jellyrolls and the various street performers, are not available.

Apryl, while there is no longer nightly entertainment, I can not tell you how entertaining it is to simply tour the different resorts and stroll along the lake. If you are looking for a bit of a change of pace, I would say a visit to the BoardWalk is absolutely worth the time.

I hope that this helped, Apryl. Please come back here to planDisney if we can help as you plan your magical adventure.

    Happy travels!
