Welcome to planDisney, Jennifer!
There's nothing like celebrating the Halloween season at a Disney theme park. I love all the seasonal decorations, treats, music, costumes, attraction overlays, and special events. As a Disney dad, one of the things I appreciate is that Disney celebrates Halloween in a way that is fun for all ages. It's "not-too-scary" for younger kids, yet still spooktacular for older kids.
Jennifer,
Oogie Boogie Bash is exclusive to
Disney California Adventure Park in Disneyland Resort. I asked Madame Leota if she has any insights into the future, however, she wasn't able to tell me if Oogie Boogie Bash will ever come to
Walt Disney World Resort. You can never say never. Still, I would be extremely shocked if Oogie Boogie Bash came to Orlando. It's one of the reasons that people travel to
Disneyland Resort during the Halloween season. Disney likes to keep certain things (rides, lands, events, etc.) exclusive to particular theme parks so that people have an extra reason to visit.
The Halloween event at Walt Disney World Resort is
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. This is one of the most popular events of the year and is more than worth attending if you've never done so. Many of this year's dates are already sold out, however, there are still some tickets available. "There's always room for one more."
Thanks for stopping by planDisney, Jennifer.
