Hey, Erin. Welcome to planDisney.
How exciting that you'll be traveling to Orlando. You simply have to visit The Most Magical Place on Earth. The parks are decked out for the Halloween season and plenty of spooktacular fun is waiting to be had.
I'm sorry you've been unable to secure tickets for
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. This is when all the Grim-Grinning Ghosts come out to socialize. Therefore, "foolish mortals" tend to snap up tickets pretty quickly. Sadly, Disney doesn't release extra tickets for this event. They only sell a limited amount of tickets in order to benefit the Guest experience. There are still tickets available for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, however, if your dates are set in stone then you're going to have to experience this event another year, I'm afraid. I hate to be the bearer of such ghastly news, Erin.
Still, you can visit any of the four theme parks during your visit. Depending on when you visit, you could enjoy the brand new
Journey of Water Inspired by Moana at EPCOT. Enter the Grid and ride
TRON Lightcycle / Run at Magic Kingdom Park. Become immersed in
Avatar - The World of Pandora at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. Travel to
a galaxy far, far away at Disney's Hollywood Studios. You really can't go wrong, Erin. Any day at a Disney theme park is "practically perfect in every way."
Have a great trip, Erin. Thanks for stopping by planDisney.
Mike
