Hello! I’ve seen online that you cannot dress up as an adult because someone can mistake you as staff, but I want to know if that extends to cosplay from Disneys Twisted Wonderland as well? Would that be allowed?

Hi, friend! Thanks for stopping by planDisney.

I love that you embrace the magic and want to dress the part! The Disneyland Resort Dress Code outlines what is allowed regarding clothing and costumes. Ultimately, Disney-themed or not, costumes of any may not be worn by Guests 14 years of age or older. The only exception to this rule is during special events, and even then there are specific guidelines. I would hate for you to show up in your finest cosplay and not be permitted, so please review the dress code before your visit! I've seen people turned away and it's a hard way to start the day. If you have any questions about whether your outfit will be permitted, I suggest bringing a second set of clothing as backup!

No matter when you visit the Disneyland Resort, there is so much to see and do. Maybe you'll visit next month during Halloween Time and take some iconic photos on Main Street, U.S.A. among the pumpkin decor. Maybe you'll visit during the Holidays at the Disneyland Resort and enjoy a Mickey-shaped gingerbread! Whatever your plans, I highly recommend checking out the Disney Parks Blog for the scoop on the upcoming events. It's where I start all of my planning!

I hope this information helps. Please don't hesitate to reach out again if you have any more questions!

    See ya real soon,
