When do online dining reservations start? I've read 180 days to 180 plus 10 if you;re staying at a resort. I've heard 6 a.m. EST and 7 a.m EST... What is accurate?

    Hiya, Christina!

My family looks forward to our Walt Disney World vacations for many reasons, but as my kids have grown and changed through the years, it's even more fun now to see which Disney dining experiences they choose. It can also be a challenge making sure I get online or on the phone to snag each meal that is most important to each kid.

If you are staying at a Walt Disney World resort hotel, your window to make dining reservations opens up 180 days prior to your check-in day. As a resort guest, you can make reservations for up to 10 days of your vacation - that's where the 180 +10 comes from.

You can access online dining reservations beginning at 6:00 AM at your 180 day mark. If you prefer to make your reservations via telephone, that can be done starting at 7:00 AM. You can call 407-939-3463 to make those reservations. I find it's a bit faster to do it online for most reservations.

I hope this makes your planning go a whole lot more smoothly!
