Can one request a floor or area (ie near elevator) in their resort reservation? And if so, better to be on upper floor or ground floor at yacht club (have garden view)?

Hello there, Janet! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks so much for taking the time to drop back by and ask another wonderful Walt Disney World Resort question!

Disney's Yacht Club Resort captures the luxurious feel found in upscale New England resorts while adding more than a dash of Disney magic! This magnificent Disney Resort hotel overlooks Disney's Boardwalk area and the gorgeous Crescent Lake. Guests can spend their time perusing the adorable boutiques, sampling some delicious foods, or playing inside the aquatic wonderland, Stormalong Bay! My family and I recently stayed at Disney's Yacht Club Resort over the summer and loved the quick access to both Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios!

Generally, Guests are able to make certain requests during the Online Resort Check-In process through My Disney Experience. However, if specific requests are unavailable through this form, you can always call the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations phone line and ask for your request to be marked on your reservation. While no requests are guaranteed, Cast Members do try their absolute best to fulfill Guests' wishes when it comes to room assignments!

As far as upper or lower floors, I tend to always ask for upper floors when staying at Deluxe Disney Resort hotels! Since these rooms have patios, I love sitting outside with my coffee and looking over my Disney Resort hotel in the mornings. Ultimately, though, this decision is largely influenced by personal preference!

Have fun continuing to plan for your vacation to Walt Disney World Resort!
