Welcome back, Mindy! Let's continue talking about the beautiful port stops on your Eastern Caribbean sailing!
When you head out to the Baths in Tortola, your drive there is a sight-seeing adventure on it's own! You'll even get to stop and get out at some beautiful overlooks for photo opps! When we go on Port Adventures with Disney, the tour guides have always been great about talking and pointing out spots, telling the history of the area, and keeping us well entertained on our drives to and from the adventures we choose. It's like getting more bang for your buck - a motorcoach tour of the island and a fabulous adventure too!
I mentioned in my previous answer to you, that on St. Thomas, it's so much fun to take the
Skyride to Paradise Point. This is sightseeing at its best, with an adventurous suspended tram included!
On Castaway Cay, since snorkeling is right off of Family Beach, you can snorkel a bit, explore the island, have lunch, snorkel some more, and still have time for more fun. If you'd like to explore the real beauty of Castaway Cay, rent bikes and go on the bike path! Don't miss both the loop bike path off of the old air strip, and also the bike path that runs along the back of the island, with an entrance at the end of the air strip near Serenity Bay. There is a beautiful photo stop at the end of that last bike path before you'll turn around to head back. Halfway through the loop bike path, park your bikes and climb to the top of the observation tower for a gorgeous 360 degree view of the whole island! Guests can book a bike rental online ahead of time, but honestly, it's just as easy to walk up to the rental area on the beach and rent a bike right then, if you're not 100% sure you'll want to do that that day.
I hope those ideas help as you continue planning your magical cruise, Mindy! Happy sailing!
