Ahoy, Stefanie!
Like your husband, I tend to be choosy about what I drink. I usually stick to unsweetened iced tea. So, I am the official expert on where to find the best iced tea onboard a Disney Cruise Line ship!
Here is the inside scoop...at the drink stations on Deck 11 you will find Fuze iced tea. While this is not the worst iced tea I have ever had, I do tend to be a bit of an iced tea snob, and I will drink this in a pinch. If you head to Enchanted Garden or
Royal Palace for breakfast, they have freshly brewed iced tea. I bring my own large Tervis with me and ask them to fill me up with iced tea before I leave. You also can get freshly brewed iced tea from Room Service, so anytime we order something, we order an extra iced tea as well.
As far as Coke Zero, as a non-soda drinker, I had to go to some friends to find out the answer. I have been assured that Coke Zero is available at both the drink stations on Deck 11, as well as in Cabanas. This would lead me to believe that it is also available in all of the main dining rooms. So, your husband should be able to get his caffeine fix at a multitude of locations!
Should there be any doubt, you can always opt to carry on some Coke Zero in cans or plastic bottles and keep it in your stateroom refrigerator. Just know that any beverages that you bring onboard has to be in your carry-on bags, and not inside your luggage that the porters take.
I hope this helps with your cruise planning! Have a fantastic cruise on the Disney Dream! Be sure to try the
Aquaduck at least once, it is definitely worth it!
Happy Cruising, Tracy V.
