Can only one person on a room reservation get the dining plan?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Sarah Ashley!

A Disney Dining Plan is a convenient way to prepay for meals and snacks for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation.  A Dining Plan may be added to a vacation package that includes a Disney Resort Hotel stay and theme park tickets.  At this time, everyone on the reservation must have the same package components.  When adding a Dining Plan to the reservation, it will be added for all Guests.

Many Guests enjoy the budgeting aspect of a Disney Dining Plan, knowing that their meals are already paid for prior to the start of their vacation.  If a Dining Plan won't work for your entire party, I recommend purchasing Disney Gift Cards in the amount of the cost of the Dining Plan and using your gift cards for your meals and snacks.  Many of us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel like to stock up on Disney Gift Cards for our vacations.  I often purchase mine at a warehouse club at a slight discount, or at Target using REDcard savings.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions as you plan your Walt Disney World Resort vacation.  We are always happy to help!
