If one person in our party is unable to go on vacation, can his park tickets be used at another time ?

    Hi Vikki,

Welcome to planDisney! In the magical world of Disney, plans may change, but dreams can always be adjusted. While Disney World tickets are nonrefundable and nontransferable, you have the option to modify your ticket dates if your plans take a new path or you discover an even better time to visit the magic of Disney World.

To make these changes, simply log into your My Disney Experience account. Navigate to the "Tickets and Passes" section, select the ticket you wish to modify, and click "Change Ticket." A calendar will appear like a portal to new possibilities, allowing you to select the perfect new dates. Follow the simple steps to complete the process. Just keep in mind that date changes can only be made for tickets that have not yet been used to enter a theme park. Changes to a person's ticket must be made by the ticketholder or the person who initially purchased the theme park tickets so be sure to log in under the correct account when making changes.

A few things to note on your magical adjustment journey:

    •  If the new dates have higher ticket prices, you’ll need to pay the difference at checkout.
    •  If the new dates are less expensive, refunds will not apply.
    •  Thankfully, there are no additional fees for making the change, just the difference in ticket prices based on seasonal demand and availability.

Should you encounter any hiccups while modifying your tickets, the friendly Cast Members at the Existing Tickets phone line will be delighted to assist you in making the necessary adjustments. They’re always ready to help keep your Disney dreams on track!

I hope your party member gets to come on this trip, but if they don't, there are options for you to adjust their tickets. It could also be a great excuse for you to come back and meet them at Disney World again in the future!

    Happy Planning,
    Jenna
