Terry from MD Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

One person in our group is now unable to go on our trip. How do I remove her from our park reservations without losing the reservations for the rest of us.

Hello there, Terry! Welcome back to planDisney! We appreciate you taking the time to reach back out and allowing us to help you plan your visit to Walt Disney World Resort!

As Walt Disney World Resort continues to invite Guests back to experience the magic, there have been some changes to prioritize the safety of all Guests throughout their visit! During your upcoming visit, you can look forward to such changes as enhanced cleaning procedures across the property, temporary adjustments to promote physical distancing, and modified experiences to reduce contact. Speaking from personal experience, these modifications truly make you feel safe during all your adventures at Walt Disney World Resort!

One other addition to keep in mind is the need to make theme park reservations prior to entering any of the four theme parks! Theme park reservations may be made through the Disney Park Pass system as soon as you have purchased theme park tickets and connected them to your My Disney Experience account. It is highly recommended that you check out the Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar as you create your plans so you can verify that there is availability during your chosen dates!

If you need to modify an existing theme park reservation, that can be done through your My Disney Experience account! All you will need to do is log into your account and navigate to the “My Plans” page. From here, you will find the theme park reservations you would like to remove your friend from and click “Cancel this Park Pass”. On the next page, you will have the option to cancel your reservation for select Guests only without canceling the entire reservation. After you have made your selection, simply confirm your changes and you will be good to go!

Hopefully, this information will assist you in planning your updated visit to Walt Disney World Resort! Be sure to let us know if we can assist in answering any other questions for you!
