Hi Barbara! Welcome to planDisney!
If you're ready to start building your daily itineraries for your
Walt Disney World Resort vacation you've come to the perfect place! We here at planDisney are available to answer any planning questions you may have, including this great one about leaving and returning to a Theme Park on the same day with a Standard Theme Park Ticket!
You'll be happy to hEAR that YES, you can certainly leave and then return to the same Theme Park you visited that morning with a
Standard Theme Park Ticket. Even though you'll only be able to visit one Park per day, you are welcome to leave midday for a swim or nap at your
Disney Resorts Collection hotel or for lunch at a nearby Resort. My family loves the
Character Dining Experience at
Chef Mickey's, located in Disney's Contemporary Resort. If you're spending your day in Magic Kingdom you can easily hitch a ride on the Monorail or take a slow stroll to Disney's Contemporary Resort for dinner and head back to the Park for the
Disney Enchantment fireworks spectacular at night!
If you're interested you can also always add the
Park Hopper Option to your Theme Park Ticket. With this option, you and your party would be able to visit more than one Park per day - or even all four if you wish! You can watch the sunrise over Cinderella Castle, quench your thirst at the
Milk Stand in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, escape the clutches of the Yeti on
Expedition Everest - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain, and still have time to see the incredible nighttime show
Harmonious at EPCOT. It would certainly be an unforgettable day!
Just remember that whether you choose to visit one Park per day or as many as possible, you'll need to make a
Theme Park Reservation for the first Park you'll visit each day.
I hope your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth makes you the happiest you've ever been!
