Welcome, Sarah! My daughter loved every single moment of her magical makeover into Cinderella when she visited the
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique! It is certainly something she'll remember forever! There are a variety of packages available, and you can even have your little princess wear her own princess costume and just get have her hair or hair and nails done. I have seen the Fairy Godmothers in Training do a little extra pixie dust for family members waiting for their little princess to receive her makeover too! Besides princesses, little knights can book the Knight Package with hair gel, a sword and shield, and confetti.
If you're looking for a shorter, but still magical, experience, check out the
Harmony Barber Shop on Main Street in the Magic Kingdom! Children and adults can have their hair cut and they also offer, without a haircut, a generous sparkling of pixie dust for a small cost (I believe it was $7 last time I was there), or a styled ponytail with pixie dust for a bit more. My daughter and son both received great haircuts there with a fun atmosphere. Reservations are taken by calling (407) WDW-PLAY, but walk-ins are accepted too, you may just have to wait a bit. While my kids were older when they had their haircuts there, for little ones, they offer a really fun First Haircut Package!
Another spot for makeovers is
The Pirates League, which transforms kids into pirates and mermaids. The makeup they do there is truly amazing! Check out the variety of options guests can choose from there! The mermaid scale makeup is shimmery and beautiful!
Have fun planning your trip, Sarah!
