One more ? (for now!)Going to AK Aug 23 and have resos at 435 at Boma. What time should we leave from AK to get there on time and would driving be the easiest way? Thanks!!

    Hi Amanda,

You keep asking as many questions as you want! We love to help with your Disney planning needs.

We love eating at Boma at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Have you been to the Lodge yet? It is breath-taking. I could spend hours sitting in the massive lobby and enjoying the peacefulness. Boma is a fantastic buffet that offers a great selection of American foods with an African flair. You will have a great time and be sure to sample everything as you never know what you might like.

One of the great things about the Animal Kingdom Lodge is its proximity to Animal Kingdom itself. Personally I like to allow at least 60 minutes in transportation time. I know the park is close to the resort but this will allow extra wait time in the event you just miss a bus, or for any unexpected delays. This also allows plenty of time for you to arrive at the Animal kingdom Lodge and get downstairs to check in for your reservation. Don't forget if you arrive early, there is a wonderful observation deck on the back of the resort where you can spend some time looking at the animals.

Wishing you a magical time and an amazing meal!
