On one of our non-park days, I was planning to explore the resorts in the Disney Springs area. We planned to start at Port Orleans, check out Saratoga Springs/Old Key West before ending at Disney Springs. What is our best transportation option?

Hi there, Jami! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We appreciate you taking the time to reach back out and ask another excellent Walt Disney World Resort question!

There are so many fun things to see and do at Walt Disney World Resort! It’s very easy to spend your entire vacation visiting the parks and completely miss certain exciting opportunities due to the variety of options available. One great example of this is the newly reimagined Disney Springs. This amazingly eclectic destination features adorable boutiques, delicious dining locations, amazing entertainment, and so much more! You definitively don’t want to miss out on visiting this vibrant place!

Creating a scheduled, non-park day is a great way to relax and take in some of the sights outside of the park! There is actually a perfect form of transportation for your described tour as well! At Disney’s Port Orleans Resort - Riverside, you can utilize the water transportation and board a boat that will take you from Disney’s Old Key West Resort to Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa and, finally, to Disney Springs. My family and I love making this exact voyage and touring some of the lesser known Disney Resort hotels

I hope this information has given you some transportation ideas for your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
