One member of our party can not come on our trip in a few weeks but someone else will be joining us. Can I change the name on the ticket and park reservation?

Hi Megan! Welcome to planDisney and thanks so much for asking this question! How exciting that you are visiting The Happiest Place on Earth soon!

I'm happy to help you feel prepared for your visit to the theme parks! My amazing fellow panelist, Tiffanie answered a very similar question last year, so I thought I would share the answer she gave about changing the name on a ticket or theme park reservation. The great news is that there's no need to change the name on the theme park tickets or theme park reservations.

As you are planning, you can make advanced dining reservations. One of my favorite places to reserve for dining at Disney California Adventure Park is Lamplight Lounge. The views of Pixar Pier and Pixar Pal-A-Round make this location especially fun to enjoy a meal and the food and drinks are delicious!

When I'm planning a vacation to Disneyland Resort, I also love checking out Disney Parks Blog for the latest news! I hope you will visit us again at planDisney if you have any additional questions before you arrive!

    Happy Planning!
