One more last question! Thanks for all your help. My DS is 12 and mildly autistic. Does Beirgarten have offer any seats farther from the band where the music isn't so loud?

    Hi Tammie,

You are welcome to request a seat away from the band at the Biergarten, but I have to caution you that a seat assignment it probably won't make much of a difference in the volume level. When the band is playing, it is quite loud thoughout the restaurant. I dined there a few weeks ago and had a table on the level most distant from the band. The volume there was such that it was difficult to carry on a conversation with my friend directly across the table.

    I have a few suggestions:

    - Bring small earplugs for your son. Perhaps this might dampen the sound a bit.
    - The band does not play continuously, they are active for only about 20 minutes of each hour. Perhaps during their show, you and your son could step outside and then return when they're done playing. I know this is not the most family-friendly solution, but it could help keep your son happy during his meal.

    Good luck with your planning.
