Ahoy, Hazel!
We love answering your cruise questions so please keep them coming! You are going to have such an amazing time on your
Very Merrytime Cruise from New York in November. Not only will you get to enjoy holiday-themed fun and the dazzling decor, but you'll also experience a "MARVELous" day at sea with some of your favorite Super Heroes! And there will be TWO cherries on top on this particular sailing-a stop at Disney's gorgeous private island, Castaway Cay and a magical day at the Walt Disney World Resort! What an incredible seven days you have to look forward to at the end of this year.
Scheduling is always subject to change, but I believe you should have one formal night (typically Day Two) on your cruise, but you can really dress up any night you would like! There will also be one pirate-themed night (pirate attire recommended, but always optional) four cruise casual nights and of course, one night that you can dress up for the
epic Marvel extravaganza! As you can imagine, there will be lots of fun photo opportunities on your cruise so keep an eye on your Personal Navigator and the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app for all the details.
Hazel, one of my favorite parts of sailing out of the Big Apple a few years ago was being able to see the New York City skyline from the Disney Magic. I was able to capture some pretty spectacular photos from this unique perspective! I also highly recommend waking up early (as hard as it might be...) to see the ship sail back down the Hudson River on the last morning. The views from Deck 10 were just breathtaking and something I'll never forget experiencing with Disney Cruise Line!
Have fun planning your cruise attire for your week-long adventure with Captain Mickey!
