Welcome to planDisney, Ronamonique!
Gawrsh, I’m sorry to hear one of your guests won’t be able to come along on your magical adventure as planned. I can only imagine how disappointed you must feel at the thought of having to cancel your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Unfortunately,
theme park tickets are nontransferable and nonrefundable, but not to worry! You have a couple of options that ensure you won’t lose out on the value of the tickets you purchased.
As long as you do so before its original start date, you can easily change the date of your ticket for a future visit in your
My Disney Experience mobile app. Open up the menu and select “Tickets and Passes” from the options. Click on the ticket you need to modify and select "Change Ticket." From there, you’ll be able to choose a new date to visit. Keep in mind you will be responsible for any price increases for the new date, if applicable.
Now, if you aren’t sure when you’ll be able to reschedule your visit, we’ve still got you covered. While your ticket may disappear from your account after the original dates of use, the value of your ticket will remain tied to your account and can be applied towards the purchase of a future theme park ticket. When that time comes, you’ll just need a little assistance from a friendly Cast Member on the
Existing Tickets Team. They can be reached at (407) 934-7639.
Ronamonique, I hope this information proves useful. Please stop by planDisney again if you have further questions. We’re always happy to help!
Until next time,
Alyssa
