One of our group members has restricted mobility and will be using his own electric scooter on our next visit - are there any designated viewing areas for disabled visitors in the parks for parades/fireworks? Thanks

    Hi Carolyn,

Welcome to planDisney! We are so glad that you have joined us with your question!

Are you feeling the excitement for your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort? Sometimes, I think my favorite part of a vacation is the anticipation. While you are dreaming and planning, please know that planDisney is always here to help answer any other questions that you might have.

My parents use ECVs when we visit Mickey and the crew at Walt Disney World Resort. It gives them the opportunity to enjoy the theme parks with their grandchildren at their speed! We are so grateful for these machines and the memories that they have given us. So, I am happy to share with you that there are roped-off areas where Guests in wheelchairs or ECVs can enjoy the incredible nighttime spectaculars. You will also find them at shows like Beauty and The Beast Live on Stage and Fantasmic!

While you are planning, check out this resource for Guests with Mobility Needs. Also, keep in mind that Guests with ECVs can roll them easily aboard the Disney Monorail, Disney Skyliner, Disney Bus transportation, and some boat transportation. It's easy to get all around Walt Disney World Resort

Come back and visit us, Carolyn. We are here for you!

    Adventure is out there,
