One of my first memories was breakfast with Mickey and Minnie at chef Mickey's. Now I have a little girl of my own (3). We know we are going to Chef Mickey's but can't decide which meal. Would you suggest breakfast or dinner?

I literally teared up when reading your question, Ashley. I know you must be so excited to experience Chef Mickey's with your daughter!

Although I have enjoyed numerous visits to Chef Mickey's for breakfast and dinner and felt the character interaction was equally great at both, I would have to say that my family prefers the food offerings on the breakfast buffet. After all, what can be better than starting your day with all-you-care-to-enjoy Mickey waffles while being greeted at your table by Mickey and the gang?

I honestly don't think you can go wrong with either meal; however, I would suggest breakfast based on my own personal experience. If it were me, I would choose the Character Dining breakfast since your previous visit was for that particular meal, and it was so meaningful to you. Chef Mickey's is one of the most popular Character Dining experiences. Guests may begin booking Advanced Dining Reservations 180 days in advance by calling Disney Dining at (407)WDW-DINE or (407)939-3463, via My Disney Experience or by going online.

I hope this information helps in making the best decision for your family. Please don't hesitate to stop by again with any additional questions that you may have. Best wishes for a magical trip, Ashley!

    Happy Planning,
