So you can use one dining credit instead of two for two people and split a meal?

    Hey there, Joy!

I'm so excited to welcome you back to planDisney...it's always such a treat to have you here! And can you believe it? Your Walt Disney World vacation is officially only TWO sleeps away! Oh my goodness, that is so close. I can almost feel the pixie dust from here! Mickey and all his pals are surely buzzing with excitement as they get everything ready for your arrival.

With your countdown in single digits, you probably still have a few last-minute things on your to-do list before you head out. So let's dive right into your question and make sure you're all set for all the magic ahead. And just a quick side note...go ahead and toss those extra Minnie ears into your bag. Trust me, there is no such thing as too many!

The Disney Dining Plan is such a convenient and flexible way to enjoy all your meals and snacks throughout your vacation. It's super helpful to have everything prepaid and already worked into your budget, and I love that you decided to take advantage of that! I completely understand wanting to be intentional about how you use your dining credits. For character meals, buffets, prix-fixe restaurants (like Be Our Guest), and dinner shows, each Guest will use one Table Service credit per meal (sometimes two, depending on the restaurant or experience), and those credits cannot be shared.

If you're dining at a Table-Service location where you order individual entrées rather than paying a set price, you're welcome to share a dish if you're not very hungry. Just keep in mind that if the second person wants their own drink, that would need to be paid for separately.

When it comes to Quick-Service meals, sharing is even simpler, as you have full flexibility in how you use those credits. I also highly suggest taking advantage of mobile ordering through the My Disney Experience app for Quick-Service spots. It's such a time-saver and makes the whole process so much smoother.

Joy, I can't recommend enough that you treat yourself to a DOLE Whip (or even a few!) using your snack credits. There are so many fun flavors and variations all around Walt Disney World Resort, and they're hands-down one of my favorite treats. I'm especially fond of the DOLE Whip Vanilla Swirl Float, but the Fanta Orange Float from Sunshine Tree Terrace in Magic Kingdom comes very close to stealing the top spot!

Alright, Joy, I hope this information helps, and you have the most amazing trip! Thanks so much for stopping by to chat with us at planDisney!

    See ya real soon,

    Kami
