Hello Gilles, welcome aboard! The Rainforest Room is a wonderfully relaxing space in the spas on Disney Cruise Line's ships. On the Magic and Wonder, you will find tiled steam rooms with hot stone loungers, aromatherapy showers, a sauna, a mild steam room, a full steam room with aromatherapy and a relaxing fountain in the middle. The Rainforest Room on the Dream and Fantasy is even larger, boasting two hot tubs on a private deck overlooking the water as well!
I really enjoyed my time in the Rainforest Room on my last sailing on the Magic, and would love to have another chance to enjoy that relaxing space again. You have a couple options for using that space in the spa. Guests can purchase a one-day pass (for about $16) to spend time in the Rainforest Room, or a cruise-long pass, which allows the guest to use the room whenever they'd like. You can always upgrade your one-day pass to a cruise-long pass, so if you'd like to give it a try, but you're unsure, purchase the one-day pass and head on in!
Guests change into robes (and swimsuits are required in the Rainforest Room), and flip flops, and enter this quiet space where you can enjoy the relaxing environments for as long as you'd like. Fruited water is available to enjoy as well as towels. The
Vista Spa page on Disney Cruise Line's website shows a picture (it's the second photo in the rotation, the one after the photo of the spa's sign) of the Rainforest Room. The
Senses Spa page shows a couple photos of this area as well.
I hope you are able to give this relaxing space a try, Gilles. It's quite a treat! Let me know if you have any other questions before you set sail! I'm always happy to help!
