Hey Howdy Hey, Sherry.
I’m so glad you rode like the wind with Bullseye here to planDisney today! You’re in for a rootin’-tootin’ good time on your trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth this year. Yeehaw!
Magic Kingdom Park is just the best, don’t you think? It’s the perfect place for people like you and me who are young at heart. I love traipsing through each unique land and feeling like I’ve escaped to another time and place.
Character Experiences are a great way to immerse yourself in the magic, and they abound at Magic Kingdom Park. The best way to view a full list of available character meet-and-greets is by utilizing the interactive map feature in your
My Disney Experience mobile app. If you choose “Characters” from the drop-down menu at the top of the map and click on “Show List,” you will see a list of all characters visiting the park that day. You can click on individual characters to find their exact appearance times and locations.
When planning your day, keep in mind many of the characters’ appearance times end around 5:00 p.m., so your best bet is to get to the park early that day. The exceptions to this rule are usually the Disney Princesses at
Princess Fairytale Hall and
Mickey at Town Square Theater. Every character is worth meeting, but since that’s not possible, I’ve compiled a list of some of the most memorable character interactions from past visits.
- Peter Pan lives true to his word of not wanting to grow up, and every time I’ve flown off to Neverland to meet him, it’s been quite the adventure! During our last trip, my mom asked him about the morning mischief he causes in Fantasyland each day, and they ended up in a playful banter that we’ll be talking about for years to come. He is a must-meet character!
- Anastasia and Drizella (Cinderella’s stepsisters) always have something up their sleeve to put a smile on your face. I’ve seen them enthusiastically wave at Cinderella and Prince Charming during the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade, dance with Guests, and use all the sass they can during conversations. We stumbled upon them walking in Fantasyland earlier this month, and they pointed out the cats on my husband’s shirt, along with their disappointment that none of those cats were Lucifer.
- The Country Bears should be at the top of your list as well. They wander around Frontierland throughout the day, but their appearances aren’t limited to just standing for a picture. In fact, my husband and I hula-hooped and danced to the Hokey Pokey with them on past trips. Interactions like this are what magical memories are made of.
I hope this information proves helpful, Sherry, but don’t hesitate to stop by again if you have further questions. We will reach for the sky and go to infinity and beyond to find the answers you need. Have a wonderful trip!
You’ve got a friend in me,
Alyssa
