One couple from our 16 people group has a Guarantee Cabin with Restrictions, what type of restrictions are they talking about and in what deck are these type of cabins.

    Ahoy, Claudia!
It is great to hear from you again. Often times, Disney Cruise Line offers Guarantee Staterooms with Restrictions when they have staterooms still available after final payment is due. When a Guest books this option, payment is due immediately and no changes can be made once the reservation is finalized. Also, you cannot request a specific stateroom or location on the ship. You will be placed in the category you booked, but Disney Cruise Line will determine which deck and part of the ship (aft, midship, forward) your room is located. There can be up to three categories of Guarantee Staterooms offered depending on availability-Inside (IGT), Oceanview (OGT) and Verandah (VGT). Your friend's stateroom location will depend on which category they booked. Room assignments are typically made around 30 days prior to departure. I recommend your friends start checking their online reservation information in late July to see if a stateroom number has been added.
I hope I've given you a clear picture of booking a Guarantee Stateroom, Claudia.  If you have any further questions, please let us know.
    Have a magical day!
