Hey, Lauren! I absolutely, wholeheartedly agree with you about Marie! My younger daughter adored her when she was little. I remember spending the better part of two separate trips practically stalking Marie. During the first trip, we were coming down Epcot's bridge from the United Kingdom Pavilion to the France Pavilion when my little one, 16-months-old at the time, spied her and began a sprint, yelling, "MEOW! MEOW!" the whole way! The next visit, we spent so much time coming back to Marie's meet and greet line that the wonderful Cast Member assisting her allowed us to spend a little one-on-one time with Marie after her last meet. They crawled on the floor together and Marie even showed her the best way to clean her paws. I cannot even describe to you the number of
Marie plush friends and shirts we have purchased over the years!
I wish I had purr-ific new to share with you, but it seems Marie stays very busy these days assisting Madame Bonfamille with finding homes for all of her stray cat friends in Paris. The life of an aristocat is quite full, you know! She does manage to find some time for a jam with the Scat Cats and occasionally has been known to visit Magic Kingdom Park. While hers is a very rare appearance, the spot I recommend checking is at the flagpole area in that park. You never know when you may just get to play for a bit with that frisky feline!
Lauren, be sure to pick up a Times Guide as you enter each theme park during your visit. These are the best source of day-to-day
character interactions to be experienced. Thanks again for stopping by and please let us know if you have any other questions as you continue to plan your pixie-dusted adventures!
