Welcome to planDisney, Susie! I'm a fellow resident of the Bluegrass State, so I'll be happy to help "ya'll" with your
Walt Disney World Resort question. You'll be arriving for your vacation soon, so let's talk about coming and going from the theme parks.
I'm happy to let you know that once you've scanned in at a theme park, you are welcome to leave and return as often as you like. As long as you have media to scan in, such as a MagicBand or
Disney MagicMobile service, you can head back to your Disney Resort Hotel or Disney Springs for a midday break. My family's favorite home away from home is Disney's Pop Century Resort, so heading back for a nap by the pool is a must-do for us.
The only potential issue would be if the theme park is full, but this is rare. You can easily check the current park capacity by tapping the Park Hours & Info tile in the
mobile app or calling (407) 560-5000 for the most up-to-date information. Parks typically only reach capacity around the holidays, so I'm crossing my Mickey-shaped gloved fingers that you'll be free to come and go during your trip.
If you've paid for theme park
parking, hold onto your receipt to gain admittance when you return. If you have the Park Hopper Option on your tickets, you can even use your parking pass at different theme parks on the same day. You have so much freedom to structure your day at Walt Disney World, so create your own magic!
I hope you check out
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT. This swirling, spinning rock concert on rails is my husband's favorite attraction. We always join the
virtual queue to save the galaxy, so give it a try! You will hear a different soundtrack each time you ride, so let me know what you get. My favorite song is "September!"
Susie, whether you cheer for the Cats or the Cards, we can definitely be Disney friends! I'm so glad you stopped by
planDisney, and I hope you have a truly magical vacation.
Magic awaits,
Elaine
