Once every (4) adult member of our group/family has established their own account and the parents have added their (2) young children to their accounts can any adult member make reservations and plans for everyone else in the group?

Welcome to planDisney, Roger! I am so glad you stopped by as you get ready to be a part of our world with so many families and friends.

It sounds like you are on your way to getting set up to enjoy the gadgets and gizmos aplenty that make the My Disney Experience app better than a dinglehopper. Once you are all connected, including adding the adults and children to everyone's Family & Friends lists, any adult can plan some whoozits and whatzits galore for everyone.

I'm not sure when you are visiting Walt Disney World Resort, but currently, Tiana's Bayou Adventure at Magic Kingdom Park and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT have a Virtual Queue you can join at 7 a.m. and again at 1 p.m. (if you were unsuccessful in getting a group in the morning and are in the theme park with the attraction at 1 p.m.). Anyone willing to get up at 6:55 a.m. can try for the first opportunity to get a Virtual Queue for people in your party.

Being connected also means you can book Lightning Lane passes together. When it's time to purchase a Lightning Lane Single or Multi Pass, you can select the eligible Guests from your connections to include in your plans. Anyone in your group can make and modify selections. I found this feature really helpful on a trip last week. After scanning into a Lightning Lane entry, we would all scan for availability, and whoever found one we wanted would book it for us all. Teamwork is dreamwork, right?

Although you do not need to be connected to include family and friends in your dining reservations, I always update my party after booking so everyone can see the reservation in their plans. This is also helpful if you have a Lightning Lane Multi Pass as anyone in your group can select attractions, and the app tries to suggest times that work with other plans like dining reservations.

Roger, I hope this helps as you plan for your time at the Most Magical Place on Earth. And if anything else comes to mind, swim back by planDisney to ask us your questions and get some answers.
