Hiya, Erik! Are you ready to
gobble up some fun at
Walt Disney World Resort the week of Thanksgiving? I know that pun is a bit of a
turkey, but like a slice of pumpkin pie, I couldn't resist.
I am glad you stopped by with this question about theme park tickets. Usually, "Disney Math" is a special skill that helps me justify buying more Mickey-shaped snacks. In this case, I can legitimately use math to help you pick the best tickets for your trip and save money (for Mickey-shaped snacks and more).
Given the price of
theme park tickets, I would buy a 7-day ticket with the
Park Hopper option. The cost per day decreases the more days you purchase. When looking at theme park tickets at the time you want to go, they are around $864 plus change and tax for a 7-day Park Hopper adult ticket. If you were to buy a 6-day base ticket and a 1-day Park Hopper ticket, it would be around $999 plus tax. Prices are subject to change, but the difference in these options would still be enough for the 7-day Park Hopper to make the most
cents. (Oops! I did it again.) With the 7-day Park Hopper, you will come out ahead, and you get the added bonus of bouncing from park to park any day you want.
I love having the Park Hopper option with my Annual Pass. When I visit Walt Disney World with my kids, we can start the day at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park and enjoy
Kilimanjaro Safaris and
Expedition Everest - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain. Later in the day, when the crowds have moved to the World Showcase, we head to
EPCOT and enjoy shorter lines at
The Seas with Nemo & Friends and the aquarium. I love the flexibility and freedom.
I am so excited you will be celebrating the holiday at Walt Disney World. If you have any other questions, put our service to the test. We are thrilled when you are our Guest at
planDisney.
A tale as old as time, we're ready for Beauty and the Feast!
