Hi, Josh! You are SO close to beginning your magical vacation! I hope you have a few days planned to hang out at the resort and enjoy the
activities provided for guests. Tri-Circle D Ranch and Chip 'n' Dale's Campfire Sing-a-Long are two that should be at the top of your must-do list. To make getting around the resort easier, I recommend you ask about renting a golf cart once you arrive.
Guests staying at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort are able to have groceries delivered to their cabin. However, I see
on the Order Form that it must be faxed at least three days in advance of arrival. I would email the address listed on the form to see if you can still place an order. If not, no worries! There are several delivery services in the Orlando area to help you get your groceries. I have used Garden Grocer and Instacart several times and found them to be an excellent service! When using Instacart, I recommend you keep your phone on you a few hours before you have delivery set so that the shopper can give you a call if any items are not available. You will be able to request substitutions, which I found to be super helpful!
Did you by chance receive your MagicBands in the mail? If not, you will just need to pick them up when you check in at the resort. MagicBands will be the key to accessing your Disney Dining Plan. Cast Members will be able to scan the band of anyone in your room to pull meal or snack entitlements. You can check how many entitlements remain at any time by looking at the bottom of any dining receipt or by pulling up your Resort Reservation details in the My Disney Experience mobile app.
I hope you have a magical week and please let us know if you have any other questions!
