Welcome aboard, Louise! You must be so thrilled with your special itinerary on the Disney Magic from New York, that includes a day at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida!
My family and I love dining at
Be Our Guest restaurant inside the Beast's castle in the Magic Kingdom. It is truly a unique experience. From the moment you enter the gates, you'll feel as if you have stepped right into the Beauty and the Beast movie! I highly recommend making dining reservations there if you are able. There are a few different rooms in which you can eat once you are inside the castle. The largest is the ballroom - straight out of the movie! I almost expect to see Belle and the Beast waltzing around, it's so lifelike! But, my family and I love to dine in the West Wing room the most. It's darker, and a bit spooky, as it is the wing that is off limits to Belle, remember? That is also where you can see the enchanted rose! No matter which room you choose to eat in, be sure to walk around for a quick look at the entire place so you don't miss a thing. Oh, and you absolutely must "try the grey stuff" - It's delicious! Seriously!
Lumiere's restaurant on the Magic is a beautiful royal dining room where "the dining room proudly presents... your dinner", but it is nothing like Be Our Guest. You will dine in Lumiere's during your rotational dining on the Magic, no need to make reservations. I love Lumiere's and all of the magical details that the Disney Imagineers have hidden throughout the space. But, do not worry that you will have too similar of an experience at Be Our Guest, because they are very different. I highly recommend trying Be Our Guest at the Magic Kingdom! You'll be full of Beauty and the Beast experiences throughout your trip!
Happy planning, Louise!
