OMG Amy thank you for ALL of your resort hopping tips that you have given me! I can't tell you how much I appreciate it! One last question and I'm done i promise! When we go to Port Orleans, what bus at Disney Springs would we get on to get there?

    Hi Andria!

I'm so glad I've been able to help with your planning so far. It's been a dream of mine to have a role like this where I can share my love of Disney Parks with other guests, and as our friend, Tiana says, “my dream wouldn't be complete without you in it.” Now that you have a solid game plan for your tour of the Walt Disney World Resort hotels, you're almost there! And everyone knows "dreams do come true in New Orleans" so Disney's Port Orleans Resort-French Quarter is just the place you'll want to be.

If you're heading there from Disney Springs you'll actually have two transportation options to choose from. First, you can grab a bus from the central stop at Disney Springs Town Center directly to Port Orleans- French Quarter. Bus service begins when Disney Springs opens and ends one hour after closing, so you'll have plenty of time to explore the resorts before heading back at the end of the day. Be sure to check for the most up-to-date operating hours as your trip nears.

Your second option would be to take the Sassagoula Boats from the Disney Springs Marketplace. You'll find the path to the dock tucked between Disney's Wonderful World of Memories and Disney's Days of Christmas. You'll know you're going in the right direction if you head toward the Rainforest Cafe volcano. These water taxis arrive approximately every 20 min and you'll really feel like you're "goin' down the bayou" as you sail toward those beignets. I actually just tried these boats for the very first time on a recent trip and loved cruising along the water between Disney Springs and Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa. It's such a peaceful way to begin your morning. If the weather looks like "blue skies and sunshine guaranteed," the boats get my vote!

One last tip: Disney's Port Orleans Resort-Riverside is the sister property to Port Orleans- French Quarter and you can walk between them in about 10 min or so if you want to check another item off your resort-hopping checklist.

Andria, now that you know exactly where you're going, you're getting closer and closer every day! I'm wishing you all the sweetness goin' 'round, just be on the lookout for charismatic frogs asking for a kiss. There's magic in the air tonight, and anything can happen...

Good things are sure to come your way!
