I have older non-expiring tickets and wanted to know how to determine the remaining balance on them?

    Nancy,

Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!

I have to confess that every time I dig through an old memory box in my basement, I am always desperately hoping to find some old Walt Disney World park ticket hidden at the bottom. It is like digging for gold!

Disney provides a few ways to find out if, and how many remaining park days you might have on an old ticket. Many of the options are ones you would use once you have arrived, like going to ticket windows at the parks, at Guest Relations at Disney Springs, or at a Disney resort. But like you, I am from the Midwest, and I want to know BEFORE I go to Walt Disney World, right? Here are the steps they ask you to follow

Email them at ticket.usage@disneyworld.com and include the following:

    • Photograph or scan of the front and back of each ticket
    • Your full name
    • Where and when ticket was purchased
    • Purchaser’s name and form of payment
    • Your phone number

They need the attachment to be below 20 MB. The website indicates it can take up to 2 weeks for a response, so don't wait until the last minute to check.

    BONUS TIP
Assuming you do have park days left, when you get that reply you should be able to then apply those tickets to an upcoming vacation. Check their reply for instructions on how to do that, or call Disney at (407) 934-7639 for help on how to do so.

    Have a Magical Vacation!
