i have older children & was wondering is it worth it to rent a caban/hut for the day we r there?? if so how much do they run??

    Ahoy, Colleen!
Even though I've stopped at Disney's island paradise many times, I'm always in awe of the natural beauty and whimsical touches of Disney magic each time I visit. You're going to absolutely love every minute of your visit there this summer!
The Cabanas on Castaway Cay are quite popular with cruise Guests because of the comfortable accommodations and VIP treatment you receive when you reserve one of these beachside retreats. They get booked quickly because there are only 21 on the family beach and a few on the adult-only beach. Cabana Guests do have a nice beachfront area to enjoy as well as comfortable indoor and outdoor seating. Snacks, drinks (soft drinks and water), sunscreen and beach toys are supplied in the Cabanas. You won't have to worry about renting snorkel equipment, bikes, rafts or tubes because all of these extras are included. Pricing is always subject to change, but a Cabana can run around $550 for a family of six (up to 10 total for an additional $50 per person).
If you decide not to rent one or don't have luck reserving one online, there are plenty of umbrellas, chairs and lounges available on the island. It's the perfect place to unwind and relax no matter where you land!
Thank you again for using the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Colleen! Good luck with your plans!
