Welcome aboard, Keri!
Disney Cruise Line is not just for kids! Believe me! While we usually sail with my family as a whole, including the kids, there have been a couple times when my husband and I left the kiddos back home and set sail, just the two of us! Disney offers
something for everyone, including adults!
On most sailings, you'll need to be 21 and up to purchase and consume
alcohol onboard the ships, but guests ages 18 and up are welcome in the
nightclubs and lounges after hours. There's more to do than drink in those clubs though, so if you're not quite old enough for alcohol, but still want to enjoy dancing, trivia, variety acts and shows, head to the clubs at night where the party begins and continues late into the night.
Also, if you're ages 18-20, too old for the Youth Clubs, but too young to drink, there's a special group just for you! The 1820 Society is for guests in that age bracket and they offer get-togethers, trivia, games, lunches, specialty coffee seminars and more each day. Be sure to attend the very first meeting of the group, as that is when they plan what to do for the sailing, and often, the best time to meet others in your age group! Check your
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App for the 1820 Society events once you're onboard.
Have so much fun on this cruise, Keri, and please stop back again if you have other questions before you head out to sea! We're happy to help!
