Greetings, Dolly, and welcome to planDisney!
Thanks for submitting your question to us and it would be my pleasure to help you! I see that you're preparing for a summer visit to the Disneyland Resort next year so I hope you're having fun planning all the details to your trip! You've certainly come to the right place for that.
All Guests who would like to book a reservation at one of the
Hotels of the Disneyland Resort must be age 18 years or older. Similarly, you must have a valid credit card in order to be able to make dining reservations, so I imagine the minimum age would be the same as well. Children may have their own supervised MyDisney account when they're 13 years of age, so they can still download the
Disneyland Mobile App and join in on the fun, however! My kids get a kick out of arranging their own Lightning Lanes and planning out their Disney day!
When reservations are released for next year's Vacation Packages, do you have an idea where you'd like to stay? You can't go wrong with any of the three Disneyland Resort Hotels, but my favorite has always been the
Disneyland Hotel. As a fan of the Park's history, I love how this property pays homage to the past but has been updated to stay current with modern amenities for its Guests.
Fun Fact: The building that currently houses
Pixar Place Hotel originally opened as the Emerald Hotel in 1984 to support the Los Angeles Olympic Games before being eventually bought by Disney in 1995. As a Pixar fan, I love the current transformation and immersive theming!
Dolly, I wish you the best as you continue planning your vacation! Please write back to us anytime you have more questions because we'd love to continue being involved in your trip. We'll see ya real soon!
Wishing You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!
