If you have old (1996 and 2002) unexpired tix, does something need to be done to them before they're used? Can you just bring them to the gate for admission? Traveling in 2 weeks, hoping to use them for waterparks. Thanks!

Prior to 2005, all WDW park tickets had no expiration date. Unused days on the tickets purchased before 2005 are still good for park admission. I had some unexpired 2004 water park tickets that I used earlier this year. We just put the old ticket into the turnstile and it let us through with no problem at all. Theoretically this should work for your tickets too. However, because some of your tickets are more than a decade old, I would probably try to circumvent any potential confusion or delay at the park entrance by having my tickets checked out before I tried to enter the park with them. You could go to any of the guest relations offices at the theme parks and show them your old tickets. They will have a scanner that can read them to verify that any encoding on them still works. If there is any problem, they would have the ability to reissue you a fresh ticket that would more easily run through the current turnstiles.

    Congratulations on your significant savings!
