Hi Erin!
Welcome to planDisney!
For guests staying off property, there are two different booking window options for
Lightning Lane services, depending on your ticket type…and it sounds like your family has both! So let’s chat about how to make that work.
If you have a
date-based ticket (like your son and husband), your Lightning Lane booking window will open for your entire trip beginning at 7 AM Eastern, 3 days prior to the start date of the ticket.
If you don’t have a date-based ticket (like yours), your Lightning Lane booking window will open beginning at 7 AM Eastern, 3 days prior to the date you’re visiting the theme park.
So, in this case, your son's and husband’s booking window will open on May 6, and your booking window will open on May 7.
If you’re hoping to purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass and get all of your return times to match up, I’d just wait until your booking window opens so that you can select everyone in your party and book them at the same time (pending availability). If your son and husband are hoping to snag a Lightning Lane Single Pass that you weren’t planning to ride, though, I’d definitely try to book that as soon as their Lightning Lane booking window opens to have a better chance at it!
I hope that all makes sense! If you have any follow-up questions (or any other planning questions for that matter!), feel free to
reach back out. We’re always happy to help!
Enjoy every second of your
spring vacation to Disney World. You’ve picked my absolute favorite time of the year to visit!
