We are old and need to use ECVs for this trip...it says in an answer that they are not allowed in the Disney Downtown District...we have not been in fifteen years so do not know where this is and what that all means. If we want to go to DDD, have to walk?

    Hi there Debra,

Thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I hope you had a wonderful Halloween!

One of the best things about visiting The Happiest Place on Earth is that age does not matter. No matter how young or old you are, every Guest can enjoy the magic of Disney in the parks! Disney is “Wild about Safety” and I want you to be comfortable during your visit. Wheelchairs and Electronic Conveyance Vehicles (ECV) are available to rent on a first-come, first-served basis, they can be used in Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. These rentals are not available for use in the Downtown Disney District.

Downtown Disney District is a beautiful promenade with shops, restaurants, and even live music. It stretches from the Disneyland Hotel to the esplanade between Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park.

However, there are local companies in the Anaheim area with this service too. Here are some rental companies I found:

    ScootAround  (888) 441-7575   locations.scootaround.com/anaheim
    One Stop Mobility Inc.  (714) 533-1444   disneylandscooterrentals.com/
    A Scooter 4 U  (877) 697-7725   rentmobilityscooter.com/

I hope this helps. If you have any more questions, please let me know how I can help you plan your magical vacation.

    chEARs!
