Unfortunately, once a
MagicBand+ has been assigned to a guest in
My Disney Experience Mobile App, it can't be reassigned to someone else. MagicBand+ bands are linked directly to an individual's profile and are unfortunately non-transferable. If you'd like another guest to have a MagicBand+, you'll need to purchase a new one.
I actually love having multiple MagicBand+ bands! I like matching them with my outfits, and my husband gets in on the fun too. He has a few of them, and whenever he's wearing one of his Donald Duck shirts, he makes sure to pair it with his Donald band!
You can find MagicBand+ options in plenty of places throughout Walt Disney World, including World of Disney at Disney Springs, select Disney Resort hotel shops, and the
Disney Store online.
If you'd rather not purchase a new MagicBand+, you still have a couple of great options.
Disney MagicMobile Service, available through the My Disney Experience App, lets you create a digital pass on your smartphone that works much like a MagicBand+. You can also request a physical Key to the World ticket card when you arrive, which can be used for park and hotel room door entry, and charging purchases to your resort hotel portfolio.
If you'd like each guest in your travel party to have their own MagicBand+, you can purchase and link a new band to each person's My Disney Experience profile before your trip. That way, everyone has their own convenient way to access all the Disney magic!
