Hi Jaynee,
It's great to hear from you again! My family stayed at
Disney's Old Key West Resort last fall and we
really enjoyed it! The spacious rooms are the perfect place to relax after fun days in the theme parks, and there are LOTS of wonderful
recreation opportunities to enjoy, too! We enjoyed playing ping pong, swimming in the Sandcastle Pool, hanging out at Conch Flats Community Hall, and playing volleyball. There are also some inviting hammocks over by the volleyball court, which make an amazing place to relax with a good book or just daydream about all of the Disney fun you're enjoying on your trip!
I'm happy to let you know that yes, there is a
ferryboat that connects Old Key West Resort with Disney Springs. While operating hours may vary based on water or weather conditions, it will usually run between 10 a.m. - 11:30 p.m. Eastern time. It's a delightful journey along the river and a wonderful way to travel to all of the fun shopping, dining, and entertainment opportunities awaiting you at
Disney Springs!
Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel again, Jaynee. You've got a friend in me, and I hope you'll keep bringing more great questions! Have fun planning your next magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
Missy
