Hi there, Loren!
I hope this means your family is getting ready for some fun in the sun as you head to The Most Magical Place on Earth! The pools at the
Disney Resorts Collection hotels are sure to make a big splash with your Mouseketeers, and thanks to Florida weather, swimming rarely goes out of
sea-sun!
I’m glad you asked this question, Loren, as safety is a top priority at Walt Disney World Resort. Did you know that life jackets are available at all Disney Resort hotel pools in both adult and child sizes?
According to
Disney World Property Rules, “Children should be supervised. Guests under age 14 must be accompanied by a Guest age 14 or older to enter a theme park or water park. To board an attraction, children under age 7 must be accompanied by a person age 14 years or older.” I also
called and spoke to a Cast Member who informed me that Mouseketeers under 12 must be supervised by an adult in the pool areas.
Pool hours and lifeguard availability are subject to change, so I recommend stopping by the front desk at your Disney Resort hotel to ask about operating hours.
Fishing you an enchanting visit, Loren!
Aena
